The Branchburg Municipal Building  was designed to house multiple municipal departments within one facility and was particularly sensitive to the regular use of the building during the evenings. The project brief demanded a high degree of circulation monitoring and control, resulting in a centralized atrium scheme from which multiple departments are accessed. The various programs were grouped with respect to similar schedules, allowing the building to be used after hours without opening the entire building. Extensive site grade manipulation was enacted to accommodate the various circulation patterns across the site.
